This is more than 11 strategies-each on has it’s own content and that includes even more strategies and tips. I like the inclusion of information and tips on math anxiety and engaging unmotivated learners. The cognition used to solve math problems are explained. There are engaging quotes and jokes provided that lighten the subject and many students would appreciate these to lessen their own math anxiety. A review of math lingo might be useful to both students and parents who are helping their children with homework. There are tips that are useful to special needs students and their parents. I recommend this book not only for parents but to homeschooling teachers.
